Brown on Black Zebra Cowhide Rug

Zebra Cowhide is a handmade leather rug in an animal-print design in brown. The design is easy to live with: enough detail to hold interest, not so much that it dictates the rest of the room.

Made by hand rather than on a power loom, the rug has the slight variation in weave and shade that gives handmade textiles their character. Each hide is naturally unique in marking and shading, so no two pieces are identical; shake it out and wipe with a damp cloth rather than washing.
