For more than four decades, our family has been weaving, sourcing, and selling beautiful handmade rugs. What began as a small workshop has grown into a trusted destination for handcrafted rugs, fine carpeting, and quality flooring.

Our Story

Our journey began in 1978 in Varanasi, India, where our founder set out to preserve the centuries-old art of hand-knotted rug weaving. Starting with a single workshop and a deep respect for the craft, we focused on quality, artistry, and treating every weaver as a partner rather than a supplier.

Over the years, our network expanded to include skilled artisans across India, Nepal, Tibet, Afghanistan, Iran, and Turkey. Despite that growth, we still source the same way our founder did: directly, in person, building long-term relationships with the weaving communities we work with.

From Workshop to Showroom

In 2001 we opened our doors to retail customers, bringing handcrafted rugs straight from the loom to the living room. Today our customers shop with us online and in our showroom, and we ship to homes across the country.

How We Work

Because we buy directly from weaving cooperatives and family workshops, we cut out the wholesalers and importers who normally sit between you and the loom. That means fairer compensation for the artisans who create each rug and better pricing for you.

Every rug is inspected by our team before it is photographed, listed, and shipped. If something is not right when it arrives, we will make it right - see our return policy for details.
