Dark Champagne Cowhide Rug

The Cowhide is a handmade leather rug in an animal-print design in champagne. The design is easy to live with: enough detail to hold interest, not so much that it dictates the rest of the room.

Choose the size so the front legs of your seating sit on the rug in a living room, or so 18 to 24 inches of rug shows beyond the mattress in a bedroom. Available in 3 sizes, from 6' Round to 7' x 8'.

Made by hand rather than on a power loom, the rug has the slight variation in weave and shade that gives handmade textiles their character. Each hide is naturally unique in marking and shading, so no two pieces are identical; shake it out and wipe with a damp cloth rather than washing.
