All Over Heriz Ivory Hand-Knotted Wool Rug

All Over Heriz is a Heriz-style hand-knotted wool rug in ivory, and its size menu spans long runners and a room size. The all-over design spreads evenly across the surface, which makes it easy to place, and the ivory colors keep the rug bright, calm and neutral.

Material and make

All Over Heriz is made knot by knot: tied by hand on an upright loom, then sheared so the pile lies even. Expect the All Over Heriz rug to feel warm and resilient, as wool does, with a little loose fiber in the early days that vacuuming clears. Tied by hand, this All Over Heriz rug has a dense build that stays in shape under furniture and daily use.

In the room

Choose 2'6" x 12', 2'6" x 13' or 2'6" x 14' for a hallway or corridor, depending on its length, or for the long side of a bedroom. The 9' x 12' is the room size, suited to a living room or a large bedroom where the sofa and chairs can rest on the rug. Dark furniture shows up well against the light ground. Set the furniture onto this All Over Heriz rug gradually, so the weight is spread rather than concentrated on one corner.

Care

Soft vacuuming, prompt blotting and an occasional rotation are all this All Over Heriz rug asks for. Professional cleaning is the best answer to anything more stubborn.
