Persian Court Blue & Beige Hand-Tufted Wool Rug 9' x 12'

Persian Court pairs blue with beige in a hand-tufted wool rug that borrows its look from classic Persian design. Blue adds coolness and beige keeps the palette soft, which gives a calm, balanced base for a room, and 9' x 12' is big enough to cover a main living room.

Material and make

Tufting by hand means a hand-held tool pushes wool yarn into a backing cloth before the rug is backed and sheared level, giving the pile a dense, uniform finish. Wool brings natural resilience and warmth, so furniture marks spring back. Loose fiber may appear for a short while and is easily vacuumed away.

In the room

A sofa group with every front leg on this 9' x 12' rug looks settled. Blue and beige suit white walls, light oak and linen upholstery, as well as traditional wooden furniture with a darker finish.

Care

Vacuum regularly with the beater bar disengaged, and blot spills with a clean cloth instead of rubbing them. A professional clean suits a wool rug that needs more than everyday care.
