Jorah Persian Gabbeh Modern Handmade Solid Border Wool Area Rug

The Jorah Gabbeh is a hand-tufted wool rug in a bohemian solid design in red. With no pattern to compete with, it works as the quiet base layer under whatever else the room is doing.

Choose the size so the front legs of your seating sit on the rug in a living room, or so 18 to 24 inches of rug shows beyond the mattress in a bedroom. Available in 4 sizes, from 3' x 5' to 9' x 12'.

The tufted pile is thick and uniform, comfortable underfoot, and suited to bedrooms and living rooms where softness matters more than heirloom longevity. The medium pile (0.25-0.75 inch) is substantial underfoot without catching on doors. The wool pile hides soil well between cleanings and wears slowly, so this is a rug for rooms you actually live in.
