Siliken Chocolate Brown Solid Shag Rug 5'x8'

Measuring 5' x 8' for a living room, the Siliken is a handmade wool rug in brown with a striped solid design. With no pattern to compete with, it works as the quiet base layer under whatever else the room is doing.

A 5' x 8' works in a living room beside the bed, or under a coffee table with the sofa's front legs resting on the edge.

Made by hand rather than on a power loom, the rug has the slight variation in weave and shade that gives handmade textiles their character. The deep shag pile is the softest option underfoot; check door clearance before placing it in a doorway. Wool is naturally resilient, springs back after furniture is moved, resists staining thanks to its lanolin, and insulates against cold floors, which is why it remains the standard for rugs that see daily use.
